THE “New” MEDICAL PORTAL – How the Workers’ Compensation Board will require you to electronically submit requests and what you need to do.
On this website information page you will find all the links and information you and your staff will need to attend webinar training for the Workers’ Compensations latest initiative – the Electronic Medical Portal. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be sure to attend one of these sessions so you and your staff can learn what the Medical Portal is all about and how it will help your patients and your bottom line!
We are making sure that even our Staff and Attorneys are attending so that we can provide our clients and the doctors we work with the best possible information.Simply put – the WCB has created an interactive Medical Portal that is being rolled out by the end of 2016 for Medical providers like your self to file forms, request treatments and monitor the status of those requests. The idea is to speed up and streamline a very clunky system.
To start the WCB is going to launch this system for the use of the c4AUTH, MG1 and the dreaded MG2 form. If you don’t know what those forms are, just click the highlighted form. For any provider who has dealt with the variance process and the MG2 it is supposed to help expedite the process.
