One of the best perks of life in Westchester County is the close proximity to both a huge metropolis and some awesome outdoor areas. We love getting into the outdoors and participating in active physical activities once the weather gets warm. Our Westchester workers comp lawyers are huge fans of Boundless Adventures, an outdoor obstacle course park located in Purchase. A trip here is a great way to have fun as a family, with four categories of courses varying in difficulty. Here is a summary of what you can expect during a visit to Boundless Adventures:

Exploration Courses

Exploration Courses are designed for beginners, children, and newcomers who are not yet completely comfortable with their climbing skill. The elevation is only 10 feet, so the obstacle course is a good place to build your skills. Features include a low-speed zipline, easy bridges, and balance beams. Participants must be at least 7 years old and all kids under 14 must be supervised by an adult.

Motivation Courses

Once you feel confident at the Exploration Courses, it may be time to consider taking on the Motivation Courses. These intermediate-level courses are 15 feet above ground and include elements like longer zip lines, ladders, and rolling elements. Rolling elements are a way of moving from one tree platform to another through the use of objects like skateboards or discs to sit on. Kids 7-9 must be accompanied by an adult, those 10-13 must be supervised, and anyone over age 14 can participate in the Motivation Courses solo.

Strength Courses

The Strength Courses are advanced-level and will pose a bit of a challenge to most participants. These courses stand 22-26 feet above the ground and will test your strength and agility. Features include more difficult ladders, rolling elements, and bridges. Participants must be at least 10 years old. Kids 10-11 must be with an adult, ages 12-13 must be supervised, and anyone over age 14 can tackle the Strength Courses solo.

Conqueror Courses

Conqueror Courses are nothing to take lightly and are designed for experts. Only consider attempting these courses once the Strength Courses begin to feel too easy. Participants should be in great physical shape, have no fear of heights, and enjoy the rush of a good thrill. These courses are 30-40 feet high and have the most difficult ladders and bridges. You’ll need to draw on your skills of balance, strength, stamina, and agility to get through the Conqueror Courses. Participants must be at least 12 years old. Kids 12-13 must be accompanied by an adult and those 14 and over can attempt the Conqueror Courses on their own.
