A new station was built in 1915, thanks to the support of Robert Goelet and Richard Delafield. The original station was then moved and used for freight storage. The last train made its stop in 1983, and the tracks were removed by the end of the following year. The station now serves as a museum and offers the local schools and groups tours. The historical society also holds its monthly meetings and annual fundraisers at the site.
