NH Road Worker Electrocuted in Crane Accident

A worker cutting trees was killed in Newbury NH when the crane he was working beside hit an electric lin. The worker was electrocuted after a high-voltage wire was touched by the crane.

The unnamed worker was resting his hand on a wood chipper about 20 feet away from the crane when the power line was touched. The electricity was conducted through the crane, into the ground, and through the wood chipper. The worker was taken to the Concord hospital where he was pronounced dead.

OSHA was called to the scene to investigate the accident according to the local fire chief. The victim was an employee of Guillemette Tree Service based in Andover. The company was hired by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation to clear out the vegetation growing near the roadways.

They kept my best interests at heart. Updates on a regular basis of the status of the case and returning of calls was much more prompt after I started dealing with the same lawyers and support team.
