What Happened?
Our client, a Shift Leader employed at Dunkin’ Donuts, was attacked by a customer. The customer hit her in the face with the phone and continued to hit her resulting in multiple injuries. The insurance company had denied requested Left Knee surgery and the Worker’s Compensation Board agreed with them, also denying the surgery.
The Results 💪
At The Disability Guys, we got to work! We were able to request a hearing before a Judge and convince him that the surgery was wrongly denied by the insurance company and the Board, resulting in the surgery being approved and allowing our client to proceed with this necessary procedure.
