What Happened?
Our client, an electrician for NYC Housing Authority, suffered multiple small injuries over a twenty-year period. Unfortunately, as he got older, the injuries continued to worsen and caused him to stop working after his last work accident. Based on his age and the fact that he just could not keep working we fought to get him ongoing weekly payments.
The Results 💪
At The Disability Guys, we got to work! The NYCHA fought to stop his ongoing weekly payments. We were able to secure him an additional $37,000 and locked in future medical care for prescriptions, medical treatment, diagnostic testing and transportation. Based on this settlement he also was able to continue to receive Social Security and Medicare.
