A new TheDisabilityGuys.com, built around the people we represent
Our website has been rebuilt from the ground up — organised around the moment you are actually in, not around us.

Why we rebuilt it
For more than 93 years this firm has done one thing: represent working New Yorkers who got hurt, got sick, or got told no. The website you are reading was rebuilt around that job — and around a simple observation about the people who use it.
Most people who land here are not browsing. They are in the middle of something stressful. A claim was denied. A check stopped. A form arrived with a deadline on it and no explanation. They need a straight answer, and they need it in the first thirty seconds.
What changed
Answers first. Every question page now opens with a plain-English answer before anything else — not a sales pitch, not a wall of firm history. If the answer is “yes, but there is a deadline,” that is what it says.
Written for the situation you are actually in. The site is organised around the moment you are in rather than around our practice areas: what to do in the first 30 days after a workplace injury, what a denial letter actually means, whether a specific medical condition qualifies for Social Security Disability, what happens at a hearing.
Español, properly. Not a translation widget. Spanish pages are written in Spanish, and the attorney who handles Spanish-language matters handles them end to end — as the attorney of record, not through an interpreter.
Seven offices, clearly. Each office now has its own page with the address, hours, directions, and the attorneys who work those cases — because “serving all of New York” means nothing when you are trying to work out where to actually go.
What did not change
The part that matters most is the part we did not touch. The lawyer who signs you is still the lawyer who shows up. I still attend Workers' Compensation Board hearings myself. Consultations are still free, and there is still no fee unless we win.
A website cannot win a case. What it can do is make sure that someone sitting at a kitchen table at 11pm with a denial letter can find out, quickly and without being sold to, what their options are. That was the brief.
If you need us
Call 866-205-2415 any time, or send us a short note and we will call you back — usually within hours. Tell us what happened. We will tell you where you stand.
The attorneys who work your case
Not a call centre. The lawyer who signs you is the lawyer who shows up.
Not sure where you stand? Ask us.
Free consultation. No fee unless we win. English or Spanish. Day or night.
