The hamlet of Campbell Hall is situated in the northern region of Hamptonburgh in Orange County, New York. The hamlet is the principal community within the town and sits on New York Route 207. Some other roadways within the neighborhood are Neelytown Road, Hamptonburgh Road, Egbertson Road, and Maybrook Road. Other towns within the greater area are Kipps, Neelytown, Stony Ford, and Burnside.

Early History

The greater region was included in the patent of 1703, which was designated to Christoper Denn, among others. The community was named in honor of the Scotchman Colonel Campbell. He had two sons that became rivals during the Revolutionary war. One brother sided with the British while the other with their newly adopted country. Despite not speaking during the war, after the final outcome, their sentiments changed.

Neighborhood

The community is home to the Noble Coffee Roasters located at the corner of New York 207 and Stony Ford Road. Residents can quickly grab a freshly brewed cup of coffee or specialty drink with a homemade breakfast or lunch sandwich.

In 2005, the community became the location of the Santa Hill Ranch. Bob and Arlene Santagata built the 390-acre ranch that has become the home of over 75 horses. The ranch has a state of the art climate controlled breeding barn that offers services including:
