Kimberly Del Prado is a Case Manager and Licensed Representative on The Disability Guys' Social Security Disability team. She helps clients navigate the SSDI process through the hearing level, guiding them through a system that can often feel complicated, frustrating and overwhelming.

For Kimberly, the work is as much about building trust as it is about navigating the process. She takes pride in helping clients feel calmer and more confident during a difficult time. As she puts it, there are many reasons to feel defeated by the system, and part of her job is making sure clients know someone is on their side.

Kimberly joined The Disability Guys when she was just 21 years old, after beginning her career in clerical and client-facing roles. Today, she is motivated by helping hardworking people who may not know where to start or what to do next. Seeing clients make it through the process and hearing their gratitude afterward is one of the most rewarding parts of her work.

Outside the office, Kimberly loves seeing her favorite artists perform live and experiencing the energy of live music. Most of all, she loves being a mom. Her daughter is her world.

About the role

What a Licensed Representative does.

Kimberly is an EDPNA — an Eligible for Direct Payment Non-Attorney Representative. The Social Security Administration licenses non-attorney representatives to represent claimants in Social Security Disability matters, including at hearings before an Administrative Law Judge. It is a credential that requires a bachelor's degree, a written examination, a background check and continuing education.

Kimberly is not an attorney and does not give legal advice. She works alongside the firm's attorneys on the Social Security Disability team; where a matter needs a lawyer, one of our attorneys handles it.
