Our client, a Lab Technician employed at a Hospital in New York City, was working during Covid, attending to patients, and contracted COVID-19. The insurance company initially tried to deny this claim. Then once the claim was established, they tried to fight her awards and level of disability. There was a lot of litigation and appeals but we were successful.
