It was inevitable that Nancy Markhoff would someday work at Markhoff & Mittman. She is married to the grandson of founding partner, Abraham Markhoff. Nancy returns to the practice of law, after a hiatus, during which time she used her best negotiation and persuasion skills as a full-time mother of three children, now ages 17, 15 and 12. Previously, she was a litigation associate at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan and a law guardian for the Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Rights Division.
Nancy graduated from Columbia College, Columbia University with a B.A. in History in 1987 and in 1990 she received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. Away from the office, Nancy can be found knitting, reading, hiking or watching her children play sports.
