In today's New York Times, N.R. Kleinfield reports that Zachary S. Weiss, chairman of the New York State workers’ compensation system is resigning, less than two years after he was appointed to this position. According to both the compensation board and the governor’s office, Mr. Weiss was not asked to leave.
